All The Official 2011 Thanksgiving Week DBA Ride

Having a slide out on your rig is a near must.:prof:

I guess if you plan to spend a lot of time inside...before we had the rez we still managed to spend 99% of our time outside aroudn the fire, etc.....the only time I can remember going inside our TH and that was EVRYONE...was when the "W" kicked up and blew all night. Nobody esle had the room so we went inside the rezerhome ate, danced and played cards...I think there were 12 of us...

I don't care how big an RV is because they are only good for a couple of people in my opinion. Entertaining and eating is one thing but when it comes to all the other stuff that goes on in there I like my privacy. And you are right, I do not spend a whole bunch of time in mine anyway unless weather conditions call for it.

When we had our little 24 footer tow behind, we would have everybody in there. 12+ like you Rez. all our friends had 33+ 5th wheel, slide outs, etc but everybody ended up in the CDA party trailer...

Same here 530, I'm always outside, but my manager likes to be inside visiting or watching a movie, playing games so she likes her comfort. The extra slide would just give us that little extra room. Problem is, my trailer is paid for and if I go bigger I will have a hard time shoe horning it down the side of my house. So I would have to store it. That would give me a trailer payment and storage fees...:naughty:

Likewise here to. I get mine behind my garage and if I have anything bigger it will not fit. Something paid for and able to store on your own property is in my book the only way to go especially with the amount of use they get. When I retire and want to travel and spend more time in it then the larger one comes along with slides and all. I am not in any rush though.

All of you are spot on, but when the weather is bad, the difference between having one and not is huge. So if one were to buy one, it should be with a slide. Just my .02 worth.:ride:

Does this include me ... :noidea: ..........
In other words you have a personal slide and that it is huge and makes a big difference? Just hypothesizing.:P

Ok, lastest weather looks really good thru Wed with highs in the 60's. Chance of rain on Tday... but not huge (don't get envious Rez) at this point. No mention of the "W" word which all makes it a far cry from last year.:thumb:

I think I guaranteed good weather, and conditions, once I realized I couldn't make it. I've also been seeing temps in the 70's, you rat bastards.:smirk:

You know I gotta go "up that way" on the way to the dez ... ... just sayin :ride: ... the Rezaberg might be a little loanly back there ...:smirk:

They are now calling for a chance of rain on Thursday only. Wednesday partly sunny and 70 degrees and Saturday and Sunday sunny as well in the mid to high 60's. By the time it really gets here maybe the rain part will be completely dissolved and we will have a perfect T Day.
