All The Official 2011 Thanksgiving Week DBA Ride

You do need to think about it, you need to have the right amount of throttle and finesse to get up most hills. Even sand hills need the right amount and throttle and body movement, but what the hell do I know?
More than the rest of us putz.:moon::wave:

well yeah... that.
but my point was that uphill is easier then going down that's just my opinion :prof:

My view of going uphill, you (meaning "I") tend to look right in front of me depending on the difficulty factor...where downhill, I tend to look farther down probably because my speed is higher...I like downhill better also because I have better control of where the bike is going. :ride:

Well, it goes like this
1) Look to see how steep it is...pucker factor could be :ride: for some, for others and  for the rest.....:smirk:
2) Point the bike down hill
3) Let off brake/brakes and slowly let out clutch (non rekluse people )
4) Pick a line to follow steering clear of any ruts and large rocks
5) Start the desent sitting or standing depending on the angle with your :moon: towards the rear of the bike...the steeper the hil the farther back you should be...
6) If necessary gently apply REAR brakes (try and not lock them up) and front brake if necessary (ever so gently)
7) Keep looking ahead for obstacles (ruts, rocks, bushes, fallen riders......slower riders   although you should have waited for them to reach the bottom before desending
8) If the line is clear of any obstacles you can go a little faster if wanted....however, there is no rush. :prof:
9) Once you've reached the bottom you look around for all by-standers at which time you give the thumbs up, that was a piece of cake signal, high five if applicable AND dependign on grade of hill, when no one is looking pull skivvies, pants and seat cover out of :moon: restart bike and continue with the journey! :thumb:

See....Simple! :P
