There does seem to be a remarkable similarity to the kinds of places that these cowards pick to pull off the mass shootings. As soon as they meet some armed resistance they seem to off themselves. Seems to me that if the 'armed resistance' was there sooner the creep's plan would move to exit mode quicker.
Yeah, they always seem to try stuff like this at places that are known to be or are posted to be "gun free zones" I'm preaching to the choir here, but if everybody COULD be carrying and many were, I can garantee this crap that these cowards as you well stated, would practically vanish. And by the way, even though the media would let you believe otherwise, violent crime has decreased steadily over the last 20 years in America. Well that's my 2/100th of a dollar for now.
Well not that I have anything against drinking in a controlled environment, but I don't know how many of my liberal friends get all bunched up over things like just happened in Roseberg, but wouldn't think of imposing any kinds of limits on how much alcohol a person can buy at a single time. When I liken 5000 rounds of ammuntion to 5 cases of wine or beer they tell me it isn't the same at all. When you bring up that alcohol or drugs are involved in 50 percent of the shootings (CDC statistics) they still aren't listening.
Fetal alcohol syndrome can pretty well be eliminated if we just make every woman who tries to buy a drink prove she isn't pregnant. (Kind of like having to get a permit to buy guns and ammo.) How many innocents die from drunk drivers? Blind hysteria. Somehow a loss of life due to a gun seems about 100 times worse.
Worse yet, most of the gun grabbers are so far down on our police force ever since Treyvon Martin was killed by a civilian, then add the well documented shooting of strong arm robber Mike Brown in Ferguson and a few more thugs that police have taken out. Now, when you ask them how you should defend yourself without a gun they tell you to rely on the police!!! (You must have all heard them say that if you have time to get your gun, you can dial 911.) Bring that up and they tell you that you are "one of those that just can't be reasoned with".
