Was going to say, I'm pretty sure I had remove tank on my list.

The problem on my 08 is that the top of the carb hits part of the frame, which prevents you from rotating it enough to get to the bottom. Also aren't 4 stroke carbs slightly bigger?

That's how my 08 is.

Clean carb, put in fresh fuel, kick it and run it.

Different strokes for different folks.

Pretty sure I can have the valve cover off in less time then it takes to remove the carb. I'll be checking them this spring when I prep the bike, I'll time myself.

I have never seen a 125 or 250 2 stroke that doesnt.

My 125 doesn't the throttle cable isn't long enough. I have to completely pull the carb

turn the handle bar all the way to the right.... you might not have enough slack in a cable tie and it causes the cable to bind... I only rotate the carb enough to slip a screwdriver and small socket in there...
