What did you do to your bike today?

waiting on parts, etc. on one.
Just wheeling the other in and out of the shop to work on another.
Teaching Little dirt napper to not tighten bolts till broken. :banghead:
Showing him how to drill and easy-out or retap the mistake.
Please teach me next:blush: First it was the oil drain plug = timesert.....then last week it was the bottom/back skid plate holder being stripped. This happened over time as my skid (bash) plate got more deformed and more deformed it was harder and harder to get the bolt to line up. Eventually I stripped the bracket bolt. Tried putting in a bigger bolt and my torque wrench (arm) busted the bolt in the hole:picard: = tapped and sized from an 6mm to an 8mm.

I need to get my torque wrench (right arm) recalibrated:bonk:

Noticed that the Tag on the Modded TTR's Lic Plate was expired as of the end of Feb. I know I paid the reg and went to find it and nothing. So Sat I went to AAA to see about a duplicate or why I did not get the sticker. Lady pulls up my Vin and says "Aw, your bike has left the state back in July 2012" What?! I have the pink at home, reg right here in my hand and the bike in the garage. She tells me she would check it out with Sacramento and let me know on Monday. Well today, she left me a message and says she called Sac and everything is straightened out. I can come by and get a new sticker. Not sure what the issue was, but will ask when I make it in.

All you have to say is Sacramento/DMV and we get the picture! :foul::rant::banghead::mad::finger::smashpc:

1/4 inch drive ratchet, and just hold the head of the ratchet when tightening :)

Installed a new fan switch so the fan can start sooner. I hear the stock ones turn on too late so it was a recommend part to switch out.

I was completely oblivious that I didn't know if I removed this part then the coolant would come out. So I lost some coolant now. Time to go buy some. But I tested the fan and it worked great. :thumb:

My seat cover looked like shit since the day I put it on. I stretched it out today the best I could. Looks a shit ton better. I also put a clean air filter on since I had it open.

We got a couple inches of snow today so I doubt I will get to enjoy it any time soon.

Just got home from a 50 mile afternoon/evening loop to the top of black star canyon today with Palmer and mmjsport :thumb: oh and slid out on a cement water crossing with slime on the bottom and it was already pitch black out so I took Palmer and my bro out with me  sparks flew, road rashed our skin but we kept on. And best part is that I didn't have to unload anything. I left my bike and gear in my truck cause I'm leaving on a other ride at 7am :ride:

Well, from the looks of the first picture, that is one hell of a steep hill climb:eek::smirk: Weekday rides.....

We got all sideways in the first shot. After jrun went down and then mmj, I had to make it look good so I jumped in the creek too. My bikes front tire gave mmj a good smack (he deserved it, ask him how much he paid for his SIDI boots :smirk:) Stock lights SUCK! All was in good fun and I smelt like pond scum from the mossy water crossing. Both of them landed in the dry on the other side. I am leading the whole ride next time. :moon:< Thats what jrunners but looks like.
