What did you do to your bike today?

Washed and Polished #5, Changes the oil and filter, Cleaned and in stalled the Air filter, Tighten the spokes on both wheels, removed the skid plate, cleaned it and re-installed, cleaned the chain. Still need to replace stock grips with new ones.

Washed and polished the TTR, removed a couple stickers to prep for new additions. Need to replace the battery.

What's your method for cleaning the chain? I take it off the bike, soak it in kerosene for a few minutes, scrub it clean, rinse it in water, then I take the leaf blower and dry it, lube it , and finally reinstall.

Kerosene soaking is a good cheap setup. My only thing with that is each time you remove you chain, you're making the master link clip weaker.

I leave mine on the bike and use the maxima chain kit. Has a cleaner, after wash lube and chain wax for when you're heading out. The cleaner is a spray on like you're lubing the chain and then you just hose it off with water. I then dry the chain with a rag and spray the after was lube on to not allow the chain to rust while sitting in the garage waiting on the next adventure. I don't add chain lube until right before I head out on a ride.
