What did you do to your bike today?

Damn I try to avoid obstacles like those. Is it OK to go around and use the observer guy for extra traction?

Yesterday I removed my exhaust cam from my Beta and took it in for the decompressor mechanism fix. A few cold ones at the bar next door and I was on my way home. It was nice that they did it right away so I didn't have to go back.

They upgraded you to the 2013 style? Nice, did you experience any symptoms to make you need it or is it a recall now?

On occasion it would be nearly impossible to turn over with the button, but only when hot. It was like the decomp didn't engage and if you were on the compression upstroke the compressed air in the cylinder was stronger than the starter motor. The kit also has a different cam tensioner spring. The spring was lower rate but longer. Not sure what the engineering reason is for the spring, but it's in there now.

I also revisited my stator DC conversion as I didn't have the right kind of wire. Now it's got some teflon wire in there.

How would you know, you were in front of me the entire ride..... :gibbs:
You know, it always seems to be you that hi-jacks a thread or derails it. I can remember somewhere in some posts back that you seem to take offense to the personnel attacks. Well sir, and I call you sir, because you seem to be a man of distinguished years (old), if we were to ever meet I would surely yank out every last one of the hairs off your silly goatee as you sound like a distinguished (old) man who would probably have one. Good day sir.
