What did you do to your bike today?

I leave my bike in the back of my truck over night with less than that for security (actually nothing but 2 straps) is theft a big problem up there?
It could be. I have known some who have had their bike and or bikes stolen. Yes, with the trailers.. Plus when I own the sickest, most awesome bike "CR500af". I am not taking any chances. Plus if you paid for your bike as much as I paid for this. I would think you would lock it up.  :smirk: That is a joke.
A friend of mine had both of his bikes stolen from his house. He had a YZF426 and a 2005 YZ250. The police found the 250 in the middle of a fire pit. All the aluminum parts were unrecognizable from being melted.

Today, I loaded up to take her to the first wash of 2014. In our new to us 2002 Chevy Silverado 2500HD.

I was not going to say anything but I will now.
Do you have the front locked also?
No, Remove rear axle/wheel slide lock off of swing arm, bike is gone.
Yes, Remove rear axle/wheel slide lock off of swing arm. bike is gone without front wheel.
Best to go through the frame if theft means that much to you.

Yes it is. Normally I loop the Kryptonite cable threw the frame rails by the countershaft sprocket. It is not long enough when loaded in the truck. Do to lack of locking points in the truck bed. I need to buy a longer cable.

stayed up till after 4am putting it together. .and still not finished I had to change the moose for a tube and quit half way through ill take it to the tyre shop tomorrow and then just change the oil and a bit of fine tuning and we're ready to go!!!

I am loaded and ready for the RFK tomorrow. It is one of my yearly contributions to the Brain Tumor Foundation. Twice a year I'll do the DS ride with friends and family. Almost new and different peeps every year. This year my youngest finally gets to DS with me and a buddy from 5 years ago decided to come out of retirement and is also coming. So, my group this year is 3 again. I think I had maybe 7 total on one of the years. Total riders for the ride are sometimes over 200.
