What did you do to your bike today?

Didn't he go to some military school or doctor school? :noidea:

yeah he wanted to change his career path..... I don't think he went to a military school but decided on an rotc program. Both of his parents are doctors. His father used to be one of the leading surgeons on the forefront of laser neuro tech or something but an illness gave him a twitch in his hands so he just consults and no longer practices.....

Rode them last night at the track, it was blowing wind and I think the temp.was in the low 40's or high 30's....I made sure nothing fell off the RM and how Katoom ran after leaning out the float, and dropping the needle 1 position. I'm happy to report the RM feels like a new bike after going thru all the wheel, swing arm and linkage bearings. The 300 ran excellent, no low to midrange burble anymore, havn't checked the plug yet. But even though I'm sore as hell, got a massive case of arm pump after the first couple laps......I'm planning on going out this afternoon again with one of my daughters.

Added two new tires to prepare for the silt last night, changed inline fuel filter and cleaned air filter. Kenda 772 rear did amazing in all conditions from gnarly mud crossings to the DEEP silty sand and even freeways. Did 120 miles at Cal poly dual sport event today with my brother and a couple other nice peeps I met at the event. Great weather, tons of awesome new single track and good food.

@PALMER84ONE , I need you to teach me how to change a tire! Saw several people get flats today and I was worried since I have no idea how to change a tube.

ordered fork seals for the wr
a brake lever, thermostat gasket, and brake pin plug for the KX.

oh, I washed the KX, changed the oil, I have been using 10w40 Mobil 1 Racing 4t, initially every 5 hours, but both times I ran it that short it came out about the same color it went in, pulled it at 10 hours and visually looks much the same.

Also, Upon downloading the kx shop manual I discovered a 2nd drain plug, it is an 8mm plug, about an inch forward of the main drainplug, There was no hole for it in the skid plate, so tonight I removed the skid plate and pulled both drains, the oil was full, but upon pulling the 2nd drain plug, almost nothing came out. This is yet one of lifes great mysteries I hope to solve, was the 2nd drain engineered? or was it just cosmic coincidence. we may never know....

I wonder if you pull the 2nd plug first if anything comes out?
