What did you do to your bike today?

What's holding me up now is hand guards. I'm picking up a Scotts sub mount off Craigslist tomorrow, and since I've been snubbed by Mr. Hand Guard, I'm going to swing by Chappy and pick up some bars so I can mount the switch that showed up today, and really dive into the rats nest of a wiring job that's on it this weekend. The biggest doh of all... I'll be grinding off my fresh Gloss Black and Clear P/C job in a spot, welding a Scotts Pin, and spraying it with touch up.:picard:

Have the stock bars from my Husky. They have the threaded bar inserts as well and are in perfect shapeBars1.jpeg Bars.jpeg . Free of charge...

I like the height of the pastranas I put on my yz, but the ends tilting up further put my wrists at an angle that doesn't work very comfortably when sitting.

I guess what I would like is some really tall cr bend bars. The fmx's are fine when I am off the seat.

I’ve been running the Windham bend in Rethals w/a crossbar. I can’t get around not having one. I’ve not been completely happy with any of the bends I’ve found in the last few years except for back in 2002 I found a pair of Answer Aluminite bars that I absolutely loved. I thought they were the Emig bend but when I went to go replace them I couldn’t match the bend exactly and it felt awkward.

Does it feel awkward when I bend you over? :smirk:
I like the Windham also, but only have them on a few bikes.

I have crossbar renthal bars with a fabric cover on my cr500 and an xr250. I should get over how conventional forks look with fat bars.

I think you have to flip the arm around when they are sub-mounted. They sell a puller so as not to scratch up the unit from prying. Simple to make, also.
