What did you do to your bike today?

Yesterday gave the RS a good ride up, over, down, around, Berger at Toms Farm, up, over, down, home..Today, bath for the RS and check Valves of the TE, get em ready for my trip to Colorado friday. Talked to P841 Jr. Jr. and he said there is :ALLSORTSOFSINGLETRACK: that he was drooling over and can't wait for me to get there with the bikes.

Pulled the smog crap off the Beta and plugged the vacuum port before my ride last Saturday. Bike ran great and now I have a place for a spare tube and some tools. Yes, on the Beta RR that spot holds a toolkit. On the RS it's a charcoal cannister instead. That's just not a good trade in my book. I need that toolkit.

It may need slight tweaking as I'm thinking it's a bit rich on the bottom without that designed in vacuum leak.

You are going to love it. As mush as I hate to utter the name you might want to post over on TT and see if you can get a trail guide. It's worked wonders for me in the past.

Try to ride early in the day and be done by 2pm so the afternoon thunderstorms don't nail you. Carry some rain gear because you will not be in California anymore.

Might need to move the needle is all and you should have gotten the tool kit with the bike. Ask the dealer, the bikes, (RR and RS) come with the tool kit.

Trail guide? Did I mention my nephew (also a rider/MTB/Ski&Snow Board Inst.) has lived in Steamboat Springs for over 12 years and works for the City Bus Transit System. He knows all the trail systems, river rafting locations, camping spots for sure. No need for a TT thread, but thanks....

Just went through the 08TE450 and found the R/intake valve tight again! Well, this will be the last one (a 165 and still just under too tight), I am pulling the motor when I get back from CO. and its getting an overhaul.
