Yep. Hit 60k on the stock tires, and could probably go farther. Had i been rotating properly, i should have seen 70k miles.
Figured I should get her some long legs to replace the stockies.
These pirellis would have a 85k mile tread life warrantee if I were to use pirelli dealers for install and rotations. -BIG DAN

I love my 6.0 and I beat the snot out of it. They really effed up by crimping that foam into the seams. I could easily go another 300k on this motor if it were not for the rust. this truck ran almost every single day (except vacations where I took planes)after it rolled off the assembly line.

I feel the same way about my ef Juan fiddy, the cabs not to rusted, but the bed is disappearing, however mechanically it never lets me down.

Stopped for fuel and ran into a guy with a 7.3 and a new bed.
We chatted a bit and there's a place not too far from me with new beds in the 1500 range and they sell new corner pillars for my truck.... For some squish I can have my 6.0 looking sweet again!!!

Yeah I miss my 97 350. Sold it and regret it everyday. Not a ounce of rust in it either

I do love my 99 and it does have some rust in the corners but no where near ready for the grave yard. But she is a real powerhouse compared to the 97 tho.
