78 3/4 4x4 with a 400 (just rebuilt) and a 4 speed.

chevy engines tho :/nice.....as far as work trucks those babies were king of the hill. I'd rather drive a chevy of those years for general use though.

yeah well its still not as special as a 390.Pretty much agree with that, the 400 sb stood out to me as it had a tendency to crack between the cylinder head bolt holes in the block and the cylinders themselves. It seems that block was punched out too far.

Ford wanted shelby to use it in the cobra. They tried it and dnfed due to engine problems everytimeAh yes, the pushrod bending machine, those seemed to be a really well built motor at least from the standpoint of the lower end, fairly low rpm motor, with the right gearing was a great work motor, but some how it would for no apparent reason spit those pushrods.
