Didn't want or need the long bed. Bike fits in the back just fine and the 5th wheel mounts in there too with no problems.. All's good. Plus it will drag those Fords down the road all day...
I will admit that I do miss my 8' bed and my 6.0 PSD regularly but then my business requires that I have a truck. The smaller 4dr suits the family a bit more since I recently acquired 2 more kids through my 2nd wife.
If it was a 70ish POS Ford, it would have grabbed the cable guard, thrown it in it's bed, and drove to the scrap yard to put $12 in your pocket for a twelver. But then again, that's what insurance is for.
