Kid called and said the truck won't start but the starter spins. I then asked if it was just hanging by the wire underneath the truck. His reply was " yep when can you fix it?"
If I would have called my parents and said that my fathers response would be, " ok I'll tell your mom you won't be home for dinner." And then he would hang up unless it was freezing cold he would consider picking me up..,....
The torque broke the bolts and the ear snapped of the starter.

What's nice about that is that it can be welded.
whats shitty about that is its been welded once before (and plated) and now its cracked right at the edge of the plate, it is a integrated boom/wheel lift, this comes from shoddy engineering and not enough support for the boom, you have a 80,000 combination in tow and it is all put on that boom, at a distance of about 30' from the beginning of the boom, of course its going to flex the fuck out of it and eventually it will fail. But hey, building it as one piece saved Century some money
