What did you do to your car/truck today?

Steve you are confusing. First you liked Emily's post. Then you liked Kyle's posting as well. I am not sure why but, the camera took some of the sound away. It toned the sound down a bit. :noidea: Kyle I will turn the clamps upside down. I am new at the aftermarket exhaust thing. Advanced Auto did not have turn downs that would slide over the outlets. Thanks for the good advice.

Also, Make sure the weight of the muffler isn't going to cause you problem. They make mounts, where you can loosen up one of those clamps and it slides in. And then tighten the clamp. And then weld or bolt the other end to the frame. Don't worry about what other people think. If its too loud, you're too old :D

Love the sound of it, but what would i know, I'm Australian.

Don't even know what they sound like with stock 'zorst, so i can't compare. But i likey.

Ok so its been a few days since I installed the Cherry Bomb Vortex on my 2002 Chevy Silverado 2500HD 6.0.
Please forgive me for not having the cash to buy the tail pipes. to move the exhaust behind my wheels. So the rumble inside the cab is load and aggressive.

Sounds like it ought to have wire wheels, white sidewall tires, velvet interior, hydrahlics and LaBamba blasting out da box... homie... instead of drop downs (AKA: donkey dicks... if you knew your shizzle) I'd throw on some bitchen side pipes...

:spin:............... but that's just me.............................. NOT!

Actually I myself would like to turn it into stack pipes. Rite up the side of the cab. Have you ever seen trucks with those exterior roll cage skeletons? Like the rock crawlers use. I would like to do that also.

Stacks for a diesel maybe, not for a gasser... and yes I have seen the "EKTOskeleton" cages... what do you need that for, do much crawling with your truck or protection form shopping carts and door dings from the store parking lots?

the exhaust sounds fine, I personally don't like a raspy exhaust but to each their own.
You do need some tail pipes, besides the obvious reasons it will give you a more "controlled" tone.

Your 01 is rusted worse than my 89 :O

I like the looks and I never know when I may want to just destroy something. I believe everyone who owns a truck. Has a Monster Truck Fantasy. Even those who own Rangers.

It's a 2002 not 01. Plus as stated many times I live in CNY. We have salt on the roads in the winter. Salt and metal do not mix. Up here the rust I have on my truck is small compared to some. As far as the tail pipes go. Well I might not even bother. I like the Rumble in the cab.
