Whats a good LCD TV????

I help test a ton of TVs for work. Sharp has the best screens these days, terrible TV UI though. LG has good screens and UI.

I would pick in this order:
1) Sharp
2) LG
3) Vizio
maybe Samsung if you can find a good deal.
After that might as well buy a budget brand....
I don't care for Panasonic or Philips.

ahh got ya. i only knew that because my first vizio i had for 2 years and 1 month before the warranty ended i called because of some issue it was having. i got a "new" tv as in it was a better model then the one i had because they didnt make it anymore but it was a refurb and had a mobo issue i guess. anyway the guy that came out to replace the mobo told me that.

We have had a Samsung for 3 years now and it's runnin strong. I just got a Dynex? over a year ago and it hasn't broken yet haha.

Hey M33 - I have a great little 14 inch unit you can have. It's not exactly an LCD though. Infact, it's not really a TV. It's a 1974 Etch-a-Sketch. Absolutely Awesome picture though. :prof:

I too have a Dynex. 40 inch. That I won at a Christmas party raffle. Its got a very nice picture. Its not as nice as my 46 inch Samsung out in the living room, But for what Im asking it to do its perfect.

By the way I believe that Dynex is a RC Willeys brand.....................................................................................
