I'm sure a majority of the locals wish I would keep my over sized gas tank away, I don't make a very soft landing zone.

I'd say it depends. Though I think specializing in just MX or trails will make you worse at the other.

although a bit ir-relevant to who makes a better rider, I feel at the level of the weekend warrior saying you're not going to do one is only robbing yourself of the full riding expierence, I can understand for the guys who don't have immediate access to one of the disciplines, I am blessed in that I have both at immediate access.

I always call myself a motocross rider, but whenever I wasn't at the track, I was riding in my backwoods and trails.

And lets be honest here...I suck at both of them. :smirk:
