Would this clean my gas tank

I bet you can start at a high grit of 200 and go down to 800, 1000. Dan did make the tank look great but it took him time and a worn out shoulder no doubt.

Yeah I bet his shoulders were in pain

100 grit on an electric palm sander for hours and hours and hours.
Finished up with 400 grit. Plastics are weird... The sanded surface is kinda 'hairy,' and anything higher than 400 was highly ineffective.
