That makes sense to me and I think it would be a great idea. Instead of handing out those free food cards or what ever they are, hand out free meat so everyone knows the money is going towards food. It amazes me the amount of money our broke ass government can find to spend on nonsense but there is never any money to spend on things that really are in need. Of course the government would then have to supply free barbeques. They already have the free cell phones out here so everyone can call up there bros for the shindig.Wow.

I'm no hunter but don't most places have a "tag" system where you need to buy "tags" to kill a deer? Why not increase the allowed tags or if need be even pay people to kill deer.
Better yet, setup a program that pays hunters $x to kill a deer and drop them off at the local butcher. Butcher gets paid $x to process the meat and deliver it to a family in need (or homeless shelter). Bet you a $1 that that would cost considerably less than the $1200 they're paying to sterilize a deer, plus people actually benefit from it.
In KY, you buy hunting license, then buy Deer tags. You get two on the first purchase and $10 each additional tag afterwards. Some counties allow unlimited deer some only up to 4. Only one buck no matter where you hunt. If you own your own land you have to buy neither but are still limited by the same harvest restrictions.Wow.

I just saw this somewhere else recently. What a joke, the stupid police we have out there at times is scary. Like it was so important to do this move at that moment that it came to that. I see cops all the time that park so far out in a lane of traffic that nobody can get by and then they create a traffic jam so they can give someone a ticket for who knows what. That cop that pulled this stunt should be real proud of his authority.
There's a reason why they blocked off that lane(s) with the truck and also why cops put their cars so far out there, it's to protect themselves. So if some idiot on their phone or a rubberneck isn't paying attention they hit that truck/car instead of the fire/ems crew or cop.I just saw this somewhere else recently. I'm thinking there was probably a little "Mouth to Mouth" first aid going onAnd "usually" from what I've been told they (fire/police) have each others backs... I'm thinking the fireman must owe the cop some squish from the weekends poker tourny!!!!or bagged his wife...

I understand this procedure which is why the cop was a dick regarding the fireman and his rig. However, at times I have seen them put their patrol car so far out in the lane of traffic that they create a dangerous situation for others. Just sayin. There's a reason why they blocked off that lane(s) with the truck and also why cops put their cars so far out there, it's to protect themselves.
