I come here looking for information, and you attack me for asking questions, and for not just taking everything at face value. Keep in mind I trust @PALMER84ONE's advice far above many, but that dont mean others dont know just as much (sorry Gary, not cutting you down, you know I love you), but I always research things first. I like to KNOW what's up. I like to look at all avenues, and consider all opinions.
AGAIN, thanks to Timo for the video, it definitely helps expand my knowledge base.
But Red, if you want to criticize, berate, and belittle, then thats cool.
I have been called much worse, legally, by lower life forms than you, and have always come out on top, every time.

Come on Mike! You of all people know, tongue punch the fart box all the way to pound town, and out comes a kid. I left her abusive ass. But she truly is psychotic. Along with daddy issues, narcissistic, angry, hateful, zero empathy, will do anything to "win" or achieve her goals, no matter who she hurts (my boy, me, makes no difference) etc...
So back to the YZ - I cant just run 95 octane or higher like the manual says? Is this a design flaw?
We are heating up here so I probably will have some down time coming up, but I'd like to get at least another month of riding her (hehe) before I tear her down. I only have 6 hours on her now, and I'm just starting to get used to her.

Yes, I will have the head cut. I'll send it to the guy in Utah. I can ride the kiddo's YZ125 in the meantime. Maybe even rip that carb back off the KX250 and go through it again
