If you have amazon prime, you can watch a documentary called The 24 Hour war which focuses on the ford gt40 vs. ferrari, it has a lot of back story, and includes things like how Carol Shelby got involved and his racing efforts and his cars (Daytona Coupe, Cobra), ya know, some of the most iconic cars in the history of motor racing.
