Those are battleship bolts. Iowa class battle ships used to have teak decks and they would bolt the 1”1/2 Boards to the deck with those.

That’s an interesting bit of trivia. I was just amused that there aren’t 5 pieces in the box. There aren’t even 5 each, but there are 5 eaches.
