Unless you already have another (better) car lined up to replace your truck for $1000, I'd just keep it.i have about 900+/- 50 in it and I dont have much set aside right now.
i told him my selling price was 1500$1k? Forget that. Now if someone was offering $2k ...
seals were 4 each bearings were 6 each haha, and I got timken bearings and seals, plus it was super easy to doI just did my buddys on his super ten the other day.... Oreillys.. got all the bearings and seals for like 20 bucks
Yeah ain't not thing... Wish they would have never changed from that type of bearing seal ..... wheel bearings now a days are 300+ Dorras! .... Torque down to like 350ft lbs of torque too lol
Yeah, Most now a days are complete hubs with lug studs and wheel speed sensors.. No more packing bearings.... I was shocked when most of the kids in my transmission class didn't know how to pack a bearing ... And that was in 2006!The expensive bearings built into the hubs were done to make the manufacturing easier. Old school wheel bearings are cheap, but require trained humans and more time. The new ones can be installed in seconds.
