Yep, same here. I have an old 12 gauge handed down from a few generations along with a couple of old 6 shooters. I acquired an old LC Smith side by side that is the same thing Annie Oakley used at one time. I also mainly have hand guns from 9 mils to 357 Blackhawks with a Browning 22 for plinking as well as the 38 snub which goes everywhere. The only long gun I have is my Ruger 1022 which is fun for target shooting or - :thinking:

I would never sell my guns but pass them on down to my boy. :devil:

watch cho mouf! sell my guns some of them mean something to me. Like papa's old shotgun and such. I don't get rid of guns. They don't eat and only take a small amount of room. They will be something for my son to have when I am gone.

Ok yall. I'm trying to figure out what I should get. I've got a gun show coming up on April 30th and I've got some spending money. Should I get a cheap 1911 or an AK47 (or 74)? I'm not sure which would be more practical for me. What would yall choose?

Back to the topic I'd say that my SKS shoots better than the AK's that I've used before, but a 74 could have possibilities. Got a 22 pistol for inexpensive practice?

Hmm, yeah. An AK74 is what I mainly want, but an AK47 will work too. The 5.45x39 cartridge would be better IMO. Faster fire rate (not like it really matters), little more accurate, and cheaper ammo! I'll keep an eye on an SKS too.

Well, I've got a .25 pistol, and that's the only pistol I've got. And .25's sure as hell aint cheap!

WTF happen to your CFR? I know you wasn't allow to ride for awhile but I did not hear anything about you selling your bike. Are you still going to get a 125?

I sold her Sunday for $2500. :cry:

I only get $1000 after paying off debt from my Dad.
As of now, they wont let me ride. But when I get my license (September), I will probably start riding again. I could buy a +/- 2000 CR125 with my $1000. I will talk to my Dad about when I can ride again and I'll see what's going on. And I doubt I can hold $1000 for that long, especially with the gun show coming up. :banghead:

Another idea, get a 6-12 month bank CD. Keeps you from touching it and you get a higher rate of return. :hyper:

I already got a debit card. I've had $3 in there for about a year now. :smirk:

I got it to buy parts online, but I haven't been much into buying lately.
Right now, half of the money is in a DVD case, and the other half I let my Dad keep until I want it. That should work!

Since you're a Zuki lover, I will show you some choices. I talked to 2 guys with an RM.

oh phut dat,,,, 01 seems high to me especially since I bought my 01 250 for 1k. I would think the 02 is okay with all that after market chit it might be a deal as long as the bike is tight,,I.E. all the bearings wheel, linkage, steer head, shock, and swingarm. All those bearing could run ya another 300 bucks to replace. With an 02 if they have not been re-greased every year then they are shot. :prof:

plus it is a zook and zooks are notorious for weak clutch baskets. If it has been replaced with an after market like a Hinson or something then your gold if not you will need to replaced eventually. thats another 200 so your 1k can turn into an easy 1500 and I would also replace the piston unless he can prove with reciept that he just replaced it. That is another 150.
