Got it down to the frame! I'm taking my time with this bike since the manual I have isn't o much of help to me and also because if I break something I may not be able to buy it.

I'm about to head to the car wash with a truck load of parts as well.

I ended up having to order another qt of paint. What they had at the paint store was mismarked.

Power washed the frame and am still going to have to use degreaser

also washed some other parts

Ordered some NOS parts, like rubber band for the ignition coil and a clutch cable. EBC brake shoes installed too!

Just got the paint today!

Ok, I need some opinions guys and gals. The paint ended up being a metallic. Should I paint the frame etc metallic or the oem color(s)? I am considering painting it metallic and going for a DG build.

Original color (frame)

Metallic color (pegs, kick stand, etc.)

Well I just touched up the frame with the correct color. Most of what you see is the original paint however.

I'm going to let everything cure and then make up my damn mind haha

Well I ended up going the oem route, they had some tractor paint which was spot on at a local paint store.

Mounted the foot pegs. I used my brass tumbler for reloading to clean the bolts, pins, and springs. Came out very nice and clean!
