What did you do to your bike today?

Seeing all that was left was an oil spot on the kitchen floor ... () I thought maybe those banditos in Missouri steeling bikes got a hold of yours....

 yeah right, you are talking about the master bike polisher:prof: I am certain there is no oil spot from any of his bikes on any floor, anywhere :smirk:

So I took the CR out for a putt this afternoon to see how the new pipe performs. Im pretty impressed. Its way better than the dented up Pro Circuit Works pipe that was on there. The bike definately has way better bottom end as FMF advertises for the Gnarly, but with out having a healthy pipe on it to begin with I really cannot compare. Im thinking about having the Pro Circuit pipe blown out and either keeping it as a spare or try it out to compare to the Gnarly. Or I may just repair it and sell it. A works pipe sells new for $200 I figure once all the dents are out of it I could be able to get atleast $80-$100 for it. Plus Ive got a factory 02 CR250 pipe that needs repair also. I bet I could get the same price for each of them.

How do you get so many dents in all those pipes to begin with? :noidea:

Well the Pro Circuit pipe was on the bike when I bought it and the Previous owner was kind enough to dent it up for me. The OEM pipe I got from a friend as a free bee but sadly it wont work on my bike. So I had to get a new shiny one that I could dent up myself. Im hoping to get them repaired and sell them to recoup the cash that I spent on the new pipe.

Why won't the OEM pipe fit the bike? That is strange. Or do you mean it wont run correctly?

The OEM pipe is for an 02, mine is an 01. Honda designed them differently. Like most bikes Ive owed the pipe has O rings on it and slides into the head. For 02 the engines have a fitting that extends out of the cylinder and the pipe slips over that fitting. Other wise it appears to be identical.
