Gave the YZ a good beating in the Desert. Fricken engine started backwards I think on the first kick. As soon as I put it in gear went in reverse WTF. I thought they fixed 2T's from ever doing that! :noidea:

Check your flywheel and pulse coil. They can only run backwards if the timing gets close to TDC... Your pulse pickup may be loose and slid twords TDC timing. Good luck!

Installed some lingerie ( really long seal savers) on the forks. Cleaned and lubed up the chain. Tried to install a 51 tooth sprocket but my chain isnt long enough. I didnt have any more adjustment on the rear axel stops. So I installed the 50 tooth instead. Installed some black back grounds for my white numbers to go on next. Rejetted the carb for the warmer temps and elevation Im expecting next weekend. Oh and installed some free horse power compliments of CDA.

Drained and refilled the gear box. Checked the torque on the clutch plate cover hardware. Adjusted the clutch cable. Went for a test ride. Re jetted the carb down one size, made a big difference. Threw in a fresh plug did a plug chop to double check. :thumb: Looks like I found my jetting for 70 degrees. Bike runs like a raped ape.
