What did you do to your bike today?

$100 for a guard from e-line... PLUS it has to be welded on. I'm leaning more towards a hose clamp (there I said it too) method!

Took the exhaust cam out to figure out why the Hotcam won't turn over my e-start. Hmmmm, what seems wrong in this picture. Stock cam on the left, hotcam on the right. Decomp pin is the thingy sticking outView attachment 15464

I only put it on the bottom part of the filter as that's where it gets really nasty.

To be honest, that's only when I actually DO put it on. I've had some insanely dirty filters and nothing made it past the lip. You could tell by the dark line of dirt that stopped right at the raised lip. I do tighten it down pretty good though.

With the dirt and dust that flys around in the desert, I would rather have the grease rim all the way around so I know nothing is getting past.

Do you need to use K-Y also? Just because they make it? Reminds me of Father of the Bride and the hot dogs and hot dog buns.
