What did you do to your bike today?

Timo finished up the valve check/shim, and got the valve cover back on, the right side tore apart for the yearly water pump shaft replacement, and tried to get a new radiator on, but with my guards, a little trimming might be in order.

Rode my street bike up Azusa canyon and got into ANOTHER foul language tirade with a LEO. Mr. Officer, why did you just decide to close Azusa Canyon road? "Too many people". Oh, this isn't gonna be pretty :banghead: Azusa canyon has a river that runs down it that people go up to to play/bathe/whatever. It's also a nice ride up the canyon, along a ridgeline and eventually end up at Mt. Baldy.

Too many people I ask? Turn your bikes around right now!!! But officer, were just going to ride up the canyon and keep going along the ridge over to Mt Baldy. He turns back around and says, you want to get your bike towed? Oh, your gonna tow my fucking bike with me on it, that's just great! Your closing the fucking road because people are having fun? That's fucked up. He says, yes it is, now please turn your bike around. So we did.

We then decide to go up Glendora Mtn Rd which goes up the middle of the ridgeline. Right at the entrance to the canyon there is a caltrans sign. Road closed to to high fire danger. Riiiiiiight. :foul: We then head on over and up Mountain Ave to the bottom of Mt. Baldy. Hmmmm, no fire danger there.

Well, at least we got out and rode. Some gorgeous houses on Siera Madre :thumb:

That poooooosie and my other friend were waiting over about 100' away on the side of the road. Looked like they were getting ready to spoon or whatever:hug::f:

PS - I think that is why a lot of people ride with me, me included:lol:

Had to re-route the brake line and speedo wire because the PO had them on the inside of the tube causing them to rub the spokes and wear through the speedo wire. So i had to solder the wires back together before i did that.

Then when i crashed and broke my collar bone in july it must have endo'd because the luggage rack was bent to hell and my stabilizer rod bushing was all fuggered up. I bent the rack back the best i could until i get some torches on it. Its alot better than it was, it used to be touching the fender.

Had to put the stabilizer rod in a vice so it would be the proper height
