This old man went rolling home.
Saved my bike from being drenched in cat blood last night. Some idiot little (black) cat.... (maybe that was a sign) mosied into the garage where our dogs sleep around 9:00... don't know what happened but it was up on the seat of my daughters quad just out of reach (or so it thought) of my heeler... I grabbed 2 of the 3 and tossed them outside and just as I was within reach of Chili she grabbed the cat... in my haste I tripped on the mower and by the time I got up the cat got away... I put a leash on Chili and opened the roll up door and the cat ran out....
3 "positive" things caME FROM THIS.....
1) The cat lived to see another day.....
2) I didn't have to clean up the garage of cat gut.....
3) It didn't happen at 2 AM.....

Cat lived? Bummer! Still has eight more lives.
That's if this was his first "mouth of dog to head of cat" experience... being he was small (maybe young) it was... there are several others that used their nineth life in our backyard!
It was a Brisk 33 degrees today and sleeting, so if figured it was a good time to go ride the bike and warsh it.

Have you found good winter gear?
I daily drive my CBR and it's starting to get pretty cold.
My ski pants, thermal socks, and Icon armor/sweatshirt/windbreaker aint cutting it anymore!!
I might have just bought the same graphics. If not, they are very similar fo sho.

I've been plenty warm in ski gloves, ski pants, my alpinstars boots, and just a normal winter jacket. The only thing that is really needed is a scarf or one of those neoprene neck warmers. I do need to get a heated visor though, the ice sticks to mine and it fogs real badHave you found good winter gear?

I have a bike event tomorrow for the County, so I am going to ride up Ortega and across main divide to get home.
Rode a 10 star loop today.
And I put 65 gallons in that pig of a MH, and the genny ran great for 15 minutes, but then I had to shut it off to go back to work. Tomorrow, I'll run it under load for a good 30 minuteses, but I'm a thinkin, it's fixed.
