What did you do to your bike today?

If you install a rekluse you can do away with your clutch lever and install a hand brake in the clutch lever position to work the rear brake at that lever.
I demo'd a KTM200xc-w smoker over New Years that had a Rekluse Clutch and Rekluse rear brake. The clutch lever was still on the bike, but the rear brake lever was under the clutch lever in a downward position. I was playing around with it on some goat trail rock downward inclines and it was pretty cool. I also was practicing my wheelies by using the rear brake lever on the bars instead of your foot to apply the brake from looping. It is a good option if you are riding in conditions where you need to dab your right foot and need that back brake at the same time.

:thumb: What Rekluse did you install, the 3.0? I have ridden a few bikes now (200, 300 smokers, 450xc-w) with the latest 2.0 and I have to tell you, that you can ride the bike like it was not there. All the clutch action is the same. The only difference that I noticed is you will roll when stalled in gear, so you need to stay on the brakes and sometimes you will get the free wheel affect when going down hill, but a blip and of the throttle will kick the gears back in and you will get the engine brake back. Other than that, it is the same, but you can completely crawl up nasty sections without the need to feather the clutch.

The back brake option is cool and could end up on a wish list if building a mountain goat bike.

Core EXP 3.0 Not installed yet! I am rebuilding another YZ250 motor, so I am busy working on another bike and riding mine before I tear it down. I know it wont take long to install I just need the time to install and adjust to be happy.
I am also working on my TE Husqvarna right now, got a fail code and turns out it needs a new temp sensor, Loves Taskys Metric, they had the part and shipped it in a day, 22.00 bucks.

Sweet. The 300 I demo'd a couple weeks back had the 3.0 minus the new backing plate. It was not in yet. I really liked the feel.
 
I am looking forward to trying their latest. The old z start pro made me a believer I am sure I am going to go through a few more clutch plates but I will go more places easier and swifter too.
 
Yesterday:
Cracked the case on the YZ I am working on, cleaned it all up, called LA Sleeve to see how much and how long a head will take for turn around, and then ordered all the parts needed on the www.
Today:
Washed my YZ.
Started the Beta and let it run some blood through it.
Started the Husky and noticed I have a little radiator fluid leak from up around the Y pipe.
Washed the frame of the YZ I have torn apart and cleaned up all the electrical.
Staged the Beta for a wash tomorrow.
Staged the Husky for the work tomorrow that needs to be done to find the leak location.
Rolled the YZ chassis back into the pool area and covered it. Hope the kid comes up and works his linkage. Told him it would be a good idea since it's apart and the swing arm axle was bad!
 
I get it out and fired it up. Let it warm up and then burn the tire down the road. Rode lots of wheelies. Made my wife angry for doing it. Oh it felt so good..
 
Why is it when guys that go OUT riding take it easy around camp (where the kids and moms are) but when at home (some of) those guys get on their bikes and just the mere touch of the front tire on the pavement they roll on the gas and haul ass down the street. :noidea:...
