What did you do to your bike today?

Neither. Deff not valves, checked them the other day. I think. It doesn't have its uber spark plug in it right now, it has the one for an 04 (different #'s)
The 05 uses a hotter plug.
I think
or maybe its just that its never liked starting in <50* weather.....

Ditch the 4 skin and get the smoker, they fire up hot or cold one kick.......come on ya know ya wanna do it.....do it.

I'll keep tryin to change the world one bike at a time, I can tell your not ready to convert..........yet.

Edit....in the meantime your gonna give us the details in the next of your series of race reports soon right?

Switched out the coolant and will be replacing the rad hoses while removing the thermostat at the same time. Getting rid of the "nom-essentials" on the bike. Shit-canned the charcoal canister as well or whatever that contraption is that the gas tank vents to.

Looked at it and wonder since I hadn't ridden it in since FOREVER, do I need to draing the gas.... if so, I am not familiar with the FI/fuel pump gizmo's... I'm guessing it's not like the hose from the petcock to the carb... I don't think there's that much in it... less than a gallon.

Please send your suggestions, recommendations and directions my way... I would appreciate it.

Like I said before you bash, I haven't done a fricken thing with it since the SLO DS ride of 2013...

EDIT: OR, do I leave the old and fill the tank with fresh ???

Drain it and dump it in your car. Paint thinner by now.

You started at Silverwood but still went down into the Juniper Flats area? After the top of Devils Hole?
I wasn't trail boss, Joe and I tagged along with Rolls and his friend Derren. Started at the dam, slabbed it to JF, then up and through Holcum to BB, back via 95% fire road. Good day in my book, released some tension. The bikes need a good cleaning and get ready for the next event. Lunch: it will have to be this week, I will be an office rat for the rest of my life at this shit hole. Pick a day, I will make it happen.

That's what I figured... I haven't even l;ooked at the fuel system to see how to draing it... a possible issue might be the "extra 1 gal tank" under the seat... I'll look at it this weekend and see if I can figure it out.
