Yah maybe, 44, the 28 had a sharper nose, but same diaper looking ass.944, which I believe was still somewhat of an Audi but also the first production sports car with a 50/50 weight balance

I had an 87 gt fiero, a german bro of mine said its a chicks car, LOL! Now you say this is a chicks car. That chick car I posses will do 155+ it smokes corvettes, and stangs, no prob. I reckon if Christy Brinkely drove a Ferrari 308, Then Magnum pi. drove one then it is a chick car. Yeup is a chick car bro, and I gets plenty of em in it. LOL! Mods, chiped, cammed, full 3in magnaflow exaust, and other suspension and fun gizmos for my chick car. lol and I aint a sellin it!Worked for VWOA, back when Audi, and Porsche were family. 78-86, and they split somewhere in that time.
Thats a "chicks" Porsche, just saying.
My car is a "chicks" car so I don't qualify for the cool vehicle and driveable machine thread, oh well, tomorrow it will stop raining and ill go for a nice long cruise......since this is the cool vehicle and driveable machines thread and its taken a porsche detour, how about this monster? the 919 evo, the car thats won the overall at le mans 3 times in a row with restrictions removed, faster than an f1 car around spa, and the fastest ever time around the ring
Le Mans this year will not be the same without porsche there, porsche IS le mans.
I am friends with the local Porsche repair/parts shop. I learned that these machines use a lot of magnesium in their mechanical parts. I also learned since that light weight material is used it will leak oil, so if you plan on owning one, be prepped. to have some kitty litter under your engine. Ja.ja! Next any engine displacement under 3 liters will "cause" cylinder jug studs to "stretch" and in some cases snap, with out proper warm up, or just old age. I learned, yeup theres more, the cam chain tensioners that are non-hydrollic ,<sp, will cause issues that will cost money, essentially any 911 that you may buy, will be a $30,000 car, even if you find one for $10,000, because that's how much it will cost to get it running right. But wait theres more, some of the stock clutches have a rubber hockey puck vibro-dampner on its cluctch, and if it snaps or breaks, it could trash out your clutch assembly. On the bright side, its a cool car, with lots o' torque.....I will own at least one 911 before I die
sports car in the dictionary might as well be 911
