What did you do to your bike today?

Re-jetted the carb on my TTR230. First time ever working on a carburetor. I had the most trouble getting the carb onto the intake properly. The end results are worth it though. Where I ride I was winding out 2nd gear and 3rd was bogging down. With the extra torque almost every trail is 3rd gear. :smirk:

Rode my scooter around the neighborhood again. Got to excited and slid the rear tire for a nice distance coming up to an intersection a lot quicker then I anticipated :bonk: :smirk: There is a DS ride in Lancaster next Sunday I'm thinking would be a good break in ride  Anyone else heard or thinking about participating?

You should bring that out to Spangler on Friday (tomorrow) and break it in there with us...:ride:

BTW, to keep this on topic, I am in the process of giving my bike a face lift, new graphics, new handguards, some plastics, new sprockets and chain, and a new place to store my tools on my bike. Stealing this last idea from Agent 2. :thumb: Pics will follow when done. Doesn't mean my fat ass is gonna ride any faster though, although a well placed CTR Racing sticker may give me a bit more horsepower.

Either way, no matter where people park, Rack and I were discussing a plan. This would be a great opportunity to get the whole group (that is man enough) over to Barstow. For the Searles group from Fresno, about a 45-1 hour drive to the staging area. Won't get a better opportunity. For the JV guys, even closer.

Just throwing it out there, maybe do this on Friday, after T-day?? Thoughts??
