What did you do to your bike today?

went to do the frount wheel barings on my gg and just before I took off the frount wheel I said to myself id better take a look at the barings id done last week on the rear wheel..omg uploadfromtaptalk1398466083109.jpguploadfromtaptalk1398466147696.jpguploadfromtaptalk1398466209005.jpg the baring on the disc side had collapsed and the heads of the bolts holding on the disc had been tearing into the calliper.. (one race) and the hub wasn't in great shape the seal and baring were none existent the spacer ruined from ball bearings rolling around inside the hub..and the outside bushing/spacer fu.k..not happy. . so after a few phone calls trying to find someone who new about gas gas hubs and could help me..got a number of a guy in my area that new a bit about gas gas bikes.. so made the phone call luckily for me he only lives 10 min away from my house.. called to him turns out his and old pro, he ust to race for gas gas in Spain and was a supplier for gas gas for a while...also raced tm and comes from a trials background... I could have listened to his experiences and tip all night. .and to make it even better my bike ust to be his lol small world. .from what i geather turns out the center spacer is made from soft alloy shit and had decreased in width..a common problem with them.. so when I tightened the axle stud it pressed the barings against the hup and caused um to bind..the spacer should be slightly bigger then the center of the hub and slightly push out the center of the barings when tightened. .anyhow his going to sort it and make a spacer from a harder metal stainless or something im not sure I was a small bit starstruck..and ill be racing his bike in the next h+h which he is organising..
 
Put on my seat concepts seat, put in new air filter, replaced inline fuel filter and mounted GPS. Oh and installed EE 1" risers. Bags are packed time to head out to the SLO ride!
