What did you do to your car/truck today?

Yup a recon unit for £1750 plus a new turbo total cost then was £2500, yeah I know I'm kinda scratching my head about that too! :noidea:How the fook do you only get 1.5 years from a MEANT to be new pump as per recon:foul:
Unfortunately my sister also bought my Vito from the mob that did the recon motor and within a couple of dealings with them myself they seemed like pure sheisters although the Vito has been great for me over the 17K miles I've driven it :thumb:

it's a ten year old POS ford tranny van, I mean the back door just fell off before Xmas and a set of new hinges for it was £163 :puke: And it's only covered 145k total so hardly mega miles

First trip to Germany 1987
Wifes dad had a big van like that in Germany made by VW. Never seen one here in the states. I replaced the clutch on it for his daughters hand in marriage. The back doors where falling off that thing also.

Second trip to Germany 1990
Only visited for a day or two because my wifes friend was out of town and gave us thier cottage to live in while we visited. Probably what kept me from labor for my wife.

Third and last trip to Germany 1994-ish
Painted the house/barn 2 story, I guess for poking 5 babies into her.

Moral of the story: What I did to my wifes fathers truck for a life with a German woman. :smirk:

This could go in the Rant thread, the pointless story thread, and a few others. Ha!!!
