What did you do to your car/truck today?

o2 sensor.
To replace the upstream the intake manifold has to come off, to get the intake manifold off you have to pull the wiper cowl. While I was there I did plugs plug wires valve cover gaskets and replace all the vac lines.

will run a lot better

Guess that makes me not feel as bad then
What gears do you have in your truck? I had f'n highway 3.42 in my '06 1500 Chevy and hated them. Also being a 4x4 crewcab, non-hd. I put 33" tires on it and put 410's in it. I get better mileage than I used to. Prolly lead footin' it just to get the thing to go around town with the 3.42's in it. Any slight grade on the freeway with my bike in the back would cause the trany to search. Not any more. It added about 400 rpm's at ~60mph switching the gears out. But it put the trany in a much happier rpm range.

Pretty sure it's 41/11 which would be 4.10, but on top of that it's a 95 4x4 with the 302 and has 210k on it, so it takes a little more pedal to get that worn out motor to go, but all I use it for now is projects, haulin bikes and dump runs. And when it retires from the street it's going to the beach property on the peninsula to dunk the boat and haul firewood. But you know what? It's PAID FOR......that's the best feature.
