Those Ford Rangers are the best truck Ford makes. They will do just about anything. Very reliable trucks. I never should have sold mine. I had a 1994 four cylinder with five speed.

Not to turn this into a "debate" however I've had my share of Ford trucks and have had no issues with any of them except (of all things) my Powerstroke...

Courier - 4 banger... did the job
F150 - straight 6... dependable
F250 - 460 - real beast
f350 - 460 - real beast
Bronco - 302 - animal
F350 - 7.3 diesel - beast... with some baggage. still ran strong.....with a slight ping to it

I just scrapped my 1999 Chevy Silverado 1500. Frame rotted out and broke in four different areas. Well a head on collision helped. The 1998-2008 frames on both Ford and Chevy rot very quickly. Especially up here where I live. Because of the salt they put down on the roads in the winter. I love the Chevy motors. But, ford makes a better work truck. They never left me stranded even when they broke down.

Oh, by the way today I finished my repair job on my wife's Camaro. Purs like a kitten with new water pump and timing chain and gears. I will post pictures soon. Especially of the old timing gears.

That 302 was the best motor ford ever made. Rock solid and dependable.

Well I finished the repair on the Camaro. Water pump, Timing chain and gears. gear. Now don't be fooled this is not a Sunstar sprocket :naughty:. This is the cam gear off of the Chevy 305 engine..
