What do you think of this bike for sale?

For 575, I would be on it like an man from Portugal at an all you can eat buffet.
Yeah I'm still up in the air about it.
Not sure what I would use it for. It's too small for an adult, and kids cant ride on the street. But it's cool.
He said he's got a guy coming to look at it today, if he doesn't sell it I may go look at it.

Lots of them sold up here. You could get a permit at 14, I think the limit was 15 hp. My friend "Sharky" ( he looked about like you would expect an adult who went by "Sharky" to look), got a contempt of court fine when he went in to show his son how to explain to a traffic judge, logically why his 100 wheelied.

If memory serves me that engine was built off of the 100 cc twin. Just half of it. That 100 cc twin was one of my first hop ups. wasnt hard to make it get into the 80's. Stock bore and all. I bet you could get 9-10 hp out of that.

I used to go to flattracks with a couple of guys whose dad was from the Azores. He was the hardest working man I ever met. Wealthy wealthy wealthy and still worked like he was broke. Farmed. Those guys were/are NUTS. God, I miss them.

You cheap bastard!

...that's about what I'm getting. I ask high and expect 16-17. Only because it's a fresh motor, and most decent bikes bottom out at 2k. Below that usually need 1k worth of parts. Have a standing offer from a friend for 14, but he knows I swapped the plush forks to my 250f and wants em back on. I want to keep those so I'm holding out for another buyer.
Got lots of dummys out there I'm almost willing to let my buddy have it. Guy came yesterday, buying for his 14yr son, has a 450x and son rides a 100f. I point to the field and say go test it out. Rips down the street a few times comes back and says has no power. I say no no take it to the FIELD your spinning on the street. (Had to edit new back tire from the ad) takes it to the field and wheelies every gear. Comes back and says runs great but the power is only on top and might be too much for him.
Before he came I asked if he was familiar with 125T and he sad yea but turns out he had never ridden one before. That was test ride goon #2.
I think I'm going to have to qualify my buyers a little better. Next test rider gets more questions.

CRF450X's are a great mystery to me, honda built it, never updated it, its no fire breather, but yet its been baja champ (aside from one win by kawi) ever since the xr650 got the axe.
Ive seen Ricky Brabec make one go extremely fucking fast though

Hint:
Billions of dollars in R&D:thumb:
HRC used to be the biggest R&D program in the world. NASA would ask them for help. They died off for a few years but now I see they are coming back with an even bigger facility and classroom.

If I see an item that was posted on Craigslist 2 months ago and had not sold, it would go low on my offer.
