Other 1999 WR400F

Bar bends are personal preference. I just took of perfectly good crossbar renthals and put on 1 1/8 pro tapers. I'm not sure what it is that I like about them, but they've been on all my bikes going back 10 years. CR High

I guess I'm having suspension issues lately now that I think about it.
I've bottomed my forks a couple times (probably wouldn't happen if I'd just grow a pair and send it), and my front end has done a weird shake/wobble a couple times when landing. Dude at the track rode my bike and said it feels okay but to maybe tweak the forks and if I moved my handlebars further back I would get some better stability. But WTF do I know? I just ride'm, crash'em, fix'em, and repeat.
Below are where mine are at right now, in front of the forks;

You can roll them back if you want or move them forward or leave them where they are. It all depends on your personal ergonomics. Looking at that bend I would roll them back about 2” so they were just past being inline with the forks slightly. Also, it’s a heavy bike built for off-road, not mx which means it comes with softer suspension to begin with. It’s a 99. Run it.

Yeah I have to keep reminding myself of that, but she does pretty well for me on the track.
I keep telling myself that if I can learn to maneuver this big heavy thing around the track, that I'll be that much better when I get the 250F running and lose 50 lbs...
