RM250 rm250 starting issues

Hummm well when I was a lookin up parts on Motosport the P was the x7 and the R was the x8 :noidea: I would go with the X7 if you know you have the P crank.
 
IF you look up the R... Its got a OIL SEAL, RH (38X52X8) 09283-38018




And i went with the seven the first time... I hope it was just a defective seal... At 15-20 bucks a pop .. I dont wanna do this muhc more lol
 
No.. I set it up against it.. And then shot bottle rockets at it intill it slipped into place.....

I used a big ass socket... .. The place that is messed up never came into contact with the socket..
 
did you grease the seal and use a socket that just barely fit into the seal hole? i grease the seal lip and rub the crank down with some premix
 
Well the new seals i got.. Where the correct ones..... Both sets were same part number... But the seals were different...

My first set of seals were moose.. They came in the gasket set..... And the second set was just crank seals from moose... Looks to be the correct one


I sent Dennis kirk an email about it.. oh well ... Here we go :thumb:
