RM250 rm250 starting issues

yes. oil the innner seal and lock tight or gasket shellac the outter ring, install the spring in on the stator side and the spring out on the clutch side.

oh and use a spider wrench to torch them down :thumb:

Yeah.. Well i guess my dumbass cannot install a seal correctly..... After i got the kickstart side seal in i noticed the inside of the seal was busted... :foul:

I confirmed that my timing was set correctly... Someone told me to check that.

I guess ill just wait till this new seal gets here... I still have not figured out why it broke... Ive put a few hundred seals in before with no problem.

This bike is so retarded ... Everywebsite ive checked showed this crankseal as oem...

09283-36007 OIL SEAL, RH (36X52X7) ... This is from bike bandit.. and many other sites.

Now this is what TT is showing

OIL SEAL, RH (36X52X8)
09283-36007

Same part number but the dimensions are different..

Ok, BK I see the issue, when looking up the parts you can choose two different crankshaft assembly diagrams. One is crankshaft (p) and the other is crankshaft (R) one is a x7 on the other is an x8. You need to know what you have.
