I had no argon to weld with.. so the welds don't look the best but I smacked it with a 3lb sledge and it didn't budge

You need to get someone to weld, For your safty.

Set the heat to beast mode, Your welds are not penetrating. You can knock that metal apart with a playschool hammer i bet.

with no argon you will get occasinal breakage and alot more splatter, those are just beads that didn't do anything but add material to the top

There was more heat penetration than you think, and what sucks is I was using the high heat setting. It was only a 120v 20a welder. I also found out the type of welding I was doing was MIG, and its flux core welding line

No BS Brian, we're not criticizing your work. If these were bed patches we wouldn't care, but those welds don't look strong enough to hold a cab onto a frame for years to come. Sometimes you have to be a poosea and let a professional do work for you
