Not many people comment on this thread anymore, but I got to wash and wax my truck for the first time yesterday, I also cleaned up my tail lights a bit, and put my bed rails on.
no pics with the bed rails on yet, too lazy.
Colors are all messed up in this pic, not sure what happened

And this is why I put a new cab on my truck.

i completely understand. I wasn't saying his truck wasn't nice i just wouldn't wax it until i painted it. Just creates more work when you go to paint it.

Yes, I would have spent the time prepping it for paint than waxing it. But das just meeee

I wouldnt do anything more to that truck as far as the body goes. It appears to be in good shape now. Sure its not cosmetically appealing with the different colors. But all the door jams and hood look to be lined up nice and straight. As soon as you paint that thing somebody it gonna wreck it for you. I hate to be the nay sayer. But that law guy....... You know Murphy (what a dick). As soon as you go out of your way to make something right, or make it nice. He is there to try an mess it up.

Im just sayin..........

update: New spark plugs today. My #3 spark plug was soaked in oil... :panic:

My valve cover was leaking, not sure when this started, but i lost about 8oz of oil because of it.. The bolt right above cyl 3 for the valve cover back out, it was loose enough to spin with my fingers.. :facepalm:

tomorrow, im gonna give all of my valve cover bolts a quick snugging and be ready to order a new valve cover gasket..

well, more hate coming. I tried 5 or 6 times to mount a rear view mirror and each time it fell off the windshield, longest i got the plate to stick was 1 day, shortest time, moved the mirror and it popped off immediately.
