Use some sand paper on the metal pad to scuff it up. Then make sure the glass is clean and all previous adhesive is gone. Use a drop of super glue and hold the pad to the glass for 60 seconds. Give a couple hours to set. Hang mirror. The next time it comes off it will take a hunk of glass with it. I can loan you my 4 year old if you would like him to prove it.

I <3 bedmats, its the only practical truck bed "add-on"
Bed carpets are pretty cool too. Except after you haul dirt. Then its a POA to vacuum out. I did it once and said screw it.
Bed rails aren't bad, as long at they're sturdy with some tie-down points in them and not some of the cheap-o chrome or plastic onesi guess that means you dont like my bed rails then
i can jerk my truck side to side with mine, they are there for style and function
