are you kidding? 4pokeYep, you ready for a KTM?
Worked on my old DR350 yesterday. New carb clean, throttle cable, air filter and air filter cage, fresh gas and new grips. Kicked ad kicked and kicked and kicked and.............kicked. Started to run and then quit. Oil is draining out of the air box now. I'm scratching my head on how that gets there. I followed all the tubes of the oil path and do not know how it gets there. Oil on this bike runs through the frame. After sweating out 3 lbs kicking that sum bitch, I put it away and need to figure out my next move.
Do I drain all the oil in the bike and make sure the right amount is in it or what. Not sure at this point. Just need to get it running and hand it back off to my bro-in-law.

You need Mihylo to come out and kick it over.
So you want to start donating your tools to the desert floor?unplugged the battery tender and hooked it up to my trailer battery.... also, going to mount a rear fender tool bag.
That is the thing, when I take the carb off, no oil coming back through the motor from the cylinder. Also there is no hoses in the air boot or air box that is a blow by. It has 2 drain tubes, one in the air box and one in the air boot. I need to do some more research on this one, it has been too many years since I have messed with this bike. I think my next step in to drain the oil and make sure the correct amount is in it. My B-I-L did say he added oil in the tube as he could not see it, so I believe he put too much in.doesn't alot of blow by in the cylinder (sticky or bad ring) create the pressure to blow the oil out the vent into the air box....
...I'll bring my lucky rabbits foot Timo...
